IIM Jammu Achieves Dual International Accreditations, Marking a Significant Milestone

IIM Jammu's Landmark Achievement

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu announced on Monday that its flagship MBA program has successfully secured two prestigious international accreditations, BGA and EFMD, within the same year. This remarkable accomplishment positions IIM Jammu among only five institutes out of the 21 IIMs in India to hold both accreditations, making it the second and third generation IIM to achieve this status.

Professor B S Sahai, the institute's director, described this achievement as a reflection of IIM Jammu's swift advancement in the global higher education landscape.

He emphasized that this recognition extends beyond the institution itself, showcasing India's increasing academic credibility and confidence on the international stage. This milestone aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a self-reliant and globally influential India, with IIM Jammu serving as a beacon of inspiration.

According to the director, the institute bridges Indian intellectual traditions with international academic standards. The dual accreditations not only signify the institute's success but also highlight India's emerging role in the global education arena.

He further noted that this achievement marks not just a milestone but the commencement of a broader mission. IIM Jammu is dedicated to establishing global benchmarks, cultivating socially responsible leaders, and fostering positive change both nationally and internationally through knowledge, ethics, and service.
